Lupu’s Garden

Blumenhaus presents the new short film of italian director Federico Fenucci an intimate portrait of his friend Mihaita Lupu and his family. Filmed in the countryside garden of the Lupu family in Romania, Mihaita narrates intimate reflections on the lifetime projects of his family. A parallel between the ancestral process of gardening (sowing, growth, harvest) and the inevitable progress and change within a family throughout time. Lupu’s Garden is shot on super8 film format and was inspired by home movies of the 1950’s
